As a high-end kitchen company, Blum were out to build an aesthetically pleasing new warehouse that was minimalistic yet architectural, and structurally lightweight.

This build featured exposed structural CHS steel column bracings, shouldered by exterior glass. A lightweight SHS steel truss design spanning a 20m roof section allowed us to produce an uninterrupted showroom space with the bonus of it providing an efficient use of materials. Considerations were made in the complicated roof design, which covered an overall 60m, to create valleys to allow for adequate rain runoff.

All connections were kept standard, except for cross bracing pins in the CHS and site welded connections in the trusses.
