695-699 Colombo Street Hotel is a 6-storey hotel featuring a rooftop restaurant. This narrow CBD site offered many challenges in construction and erection, with the structure being built right up to site boundary lines. This project comprised 80% of all steel being custom made.

Fabrication took a total of twelve weeks over four stages and on-site installation works spanned three months. Columns up to 25m in length were fabricated in our workshop, transported in the middle of the night to avoid traffic disruption in the CBD, and erected using a 160T crane. This methodology cut an entire month of proposed mid-floor welding time.
